Next, we install 5/8″ drywall on all ceilings and walls, selecting board sizes that minimize butt joints. We then apply tape to all board joints and the first coat of compound throughout the entire house, including fastener heads, interior angles corners, and other relevant areas.
After the initial coat, we apply two more coats of compound to all flat joints, fastener heads, and interior and outside corners and angles throughout the house. We allow sufficient drying time and conduct light sanding prior to the start of consecutive coats, ensuring the best results possible.
